It's simple and supports an 8-bit alpha channel, so it's still common for game textures, 3D render output and video compositing. Browsers, Windows Photos and most social sites can't show TGA, so it needs converting to PNG or JPG first.
支持哪些 TGA？Which TGA files are supported?
支持全部 6 种常见图像类型：调色板（类型 1）、真彩色（类型 2，15/16/24/32 位）、灰度（类型 3，8 位或 8 位 + Alpha），以及它们的 RLE 压缩版本（类型 9、10、11）；左下角或左上角原点、左右翻转的图像都会按正确方向输出。32 位文件的 Alpha 全为 0 时（有些软件不写透明通道）按不透明处理。All six common image types: colour-mapped (type 1), true-colour (type 2, 15/16/24/32-bit), greyscale (type 3, 8-bit or 8-bit + alpha), and their RLE-compressed versions (types 9, 10 and 11). Images stored with a bottom-left or top-left origin, or mirrored, come out the right way up. A 32-bit file whose alpha is all 0 (some programs don't write it) is treated as opaque.
把图片转成 TGA 时输出什么格式？What kind of TGA does it write?
有透明像素时输出 32 位 BGRA（8 位 Alpha），否则输出 24 位，原点在左上角，并带 TGA 2.0 文件尾。勾选“RLE 压缩”会写成类型 10，对大面积纯色的贴图通常能小很多；个别老游戏引擎只认未压缩 TGA，这时不要勾选。32-bit BGRA (8-bit alpha) when the image has transparent pixels, otherwise 24-bit, with a top-left origin and a TGA 2.0 footer. RLE compression writes type 10, which is usually much smaller for textures with flat areas; a few old game engines only read uncompressed TGA, so leave it off for those.
透明背景会保留吗？Is transparency kept?
