A few old fonts lack some of them and show a box instead.
为什么有些字母转换不了？Why can't some letters be converted?
Unicode 只收录了部分上标和下标字母：上标没有 q，也没有大写 C、F、Q、S、X、Y、Z；下标只有 a e h i j k l m n o p r s t u v x 这些小写字母，没有大写；小型大写里没有 x。这些字符会原样保留并在结果下方列出。勾选“用小写代替”后，大写字母会改用对应的小写上/下标（比如 C → ᶜ）。Unicode only has some superscript and subscript letters: superscript has no q and no capital C, F, Q, S, X, Y or Z; subscript only has the lowercase a e h i j k l m n o p r s t u v x and no capitals; small caps has no x. Those characters are kept as they are and listed under the result. With 'Use the lowercase form' on, a capital uses its lowercase superscript or subscript instead (C → ᶜ).

小型大写（ᴛɪɴʏ）是和正文同一基线、高度接近小写字母的大写字形；上标（ᵗⁱⁿʸ）则更小并抬高到字母上方。两种都常被叫作“小字”。小型大写模式只转换小写字母，原本的大写字母保持不变。Small caps (ᴛɪɴʏ) are capital shapes about the height of lowercase letters, sitting on the normal baseline; superscript (ᵗⁱⁿʸ) is smaller and raised. Both get called 'tiny text'. Small-caps mode converts lowercase letters only and leaves capitals unchanged.
