Converting to XLS truncates anything beyond the old limits, and the done message says how many rows or columns were cut.

格式、图表和宏会保留吗？Are formatting, charts and macros kept?

会保留所有工作表的单元格数值、文本、日期、公式计算结果和合并单元格；颜色、字体、图表、图片、数据透视表和 VBA 宏不会保留（基于开源 SheetJS 社区版）。由脚本生成、没有保存计算结果的公式：转 XLSX 时保留公式，其他格式中为空，完成提示会说明。JSON 中的日期输出为本地日期文本（如 2026-10-02），没有表头的列用列字母（如 F）作键名。需要完整保留格式时请用 Excel 或 LibreOffice 另存为。Cell values, text, dates, formula results and merged cells on every sheet are kept. Colours, fonts, charts, images, pivot tables and VBA macros are not (this uses the open-source SheetJS Community Edition). Formulas saved without a result (files made by scripts) are kept when converting to XLSX and are empty in the other formats; the done message says so. In JSON, dates are written as local date text such as 2026-10-02, and a column without a header uses its letter (such as F) as the key. For full fidelity, use Save As in Excel or LibreOffice.

转 CSV 时中文会乱码吗？Will Chinese be garbled in CSV?

不会。CSV 以 UTF-8 保存并带 BOM，Excel 打开时能正确识别中文；旧 XLS 中的 GBK 文本也会正确读取；读取 CSV 时会自动识别 UTF-8、UTF-16 和 GBK 编码，并在读取结果里注明。多个工作表选“全部”时，每个表生成一个 CSV 并打包为 ZIP。No. CSV is saved as UTF-8 with a BOM so Excel recognises Chinese correctly, and GBK text in old XLS files is read properly; when reading a CSV, UTF-8, UTF-16 and GBK encodings are detected automatically and named in the load message. With All sheets, each sheet becomes its own CSV inside a ZIP.
