Text with Chinese embeds a subset of Noto Sans SC covering all common GB2312 and Big5 characters plus kana and Latin. Emoji and a few rare characters are not in the font and appear as "?" — you'll be told how many. Only the glyphs used are embedded, so files stay small.
长行和中英文混排怎么换行？How are long lines and mixed Chinese/English wrapped?
英文按单词换行，过长的单词（如网址）会在字符间断开；中文可在任意字之间换行，并避免句号、逗号等标点出现在行首。原文中的空行、缩进和 Tab（按设定宽度展开）都会保留，换页符（\f）会开始新的一页。English wraps at word boundaries, with overly long words such as URLs broken between characters. Chinese can break between any two characters, and closing punctuation such as full stops and commas is kept off the start of a line. Blank lines, indentation and tabs (expanded to the chosen width) are preserved, and a form feed (\f) starts a new page.
等宽字体对中文有效吗？Does the monospace option apply to Chinese?
“英文字体”只在全文都是英文/西欧字符时生效（使用 PDF 内置的 Helvetica、Times 或 Courier）。只要文中含有中文，整篇会用思源黑体排版，该字体不是等宽字体，所以代码对齐可能略有偏差。The Latin font choice applies only when the whole text is English/Western (using the PDF built-in Helvetica, Times or Courier). As soon as the text contains Chinese, it is set in Noto Sans SC, which is not monospaced, so code alignment may shift slightly.
