How are percentages calculated?
Each value divided by the total. Rounded percentages may add up to 100% ± 0.1%. Slices under 3% are not labelled on the chart to avoid overlap, but still appear in the table.
Can I enter percentages?
100。Yes — the % in "name 25%" is ignored and values are used proportionally, so they need not add to exactly 100.
When is a pie chart a bad idea?
With many categories (more than 6–7) or very similar values, pies are hard to compare; a bar chart from the Chart Maker is clearer.
