BMP 和 PNG 两种存储方式有什么区别？What is the difference between BMP and PNG entries?
默认 256 像素用 PNG 压缩、其余尺寸用 32 位 BMP（带 Alpha 透明），兼容性最好；全部改用 PNG 文件更小，但 Windows XP 等很老的系统无法显示。By default the 256 px image is stored as PNG and smaller sizes as 32-bit BMP with alpha, for the widest compatibility. Storing everything as PNG gives a smaller file but very old systems such as Windows XP cannot display it.
怎么作为网站 favicon 使用？How do I use it as a website favicon?
把下载的文件命名为 favicon.ico 放在网站根目录，浏览器会自动请求它；也可以在 head 里加入页面下方给出的 link 标签。Name the file favicon.ico and put it in your site root — browsers request it automatically — or add the link tag shown below the previews to your page head.
