AVIF 由浏览器自带的解码器读取：Chrome / Edge 85 以上、Firefox 93 以上和 Safari 16 以上都支持。浏览器读不了某个文件（损坏、不完整或编码特殊）时，列表里会标出原因，其余图片照常转换。动图 AVIF 只取第一帧并注明。AVIF is read by the browser's own decoder: Chrome / Edge 85+, Firefox 93+ and Safari 16+ support it. If a file can't be read (corrupt, incomplete or unusually encoded), the list marks it with the reason and the other images are still converted. Animated AVIFs use their first frame, with a note.
默认为什么用 JPEG 存进 PDF？Why does it store images as JPEG by default?
PDF 不能直接嵌入 AVIF，必须重新编码。照片用 JPEG（质量 90）放进 PDF，文件大小接近原图；选“无损”会按像素原样压缩，画质不变但文件通常大好几倍，适合截图、图表和文字图片。PDF can't embed AVIF directly, so images have to be re-encoded. Photos stored as JPEG (quality 90) keep the PDF close to the original size; Lossless stores the pixels exactly — no quality change, but usually several times larger — which suits screenshots, charts and images of text.
页面大小和页边距怎么选？How do I choose page size and margins?
“按图片尺寸”让每页正好等于图片大小（按图片自带的 DPI 换算，没有 DPI 信息时按 96 DPI），页边距为 0 时没有白边（设置了页边距，四周会按该宽度留白）；选 A4 / Letter 等标准纸张时，图片会等比例缩放并居中，方向选“自动”时横图自动用横向页面。"Image size" makes each page exactly the size of its image (using the image's own DPI, or 96 DPI if none is stored), with no white border when the margin is 0 (a margin adds a white border of that width). With A4, Letter and other paper sizes the image is scaled proportionally and centred; with orientation on Auto, landscape images get landscape pages.
